{"id":1853,"date":"2022-03-01T19:22:00","date_gmt":"2022-03-02T00:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/live-coto.pantheonsite.io\/?post_type=resource&#038;p=1853"},"modified":"2025-02-13T15:14:08","modified_gmt":"2025-02-13T20:14:08","slug":"updating-your-information","status":"publish","type":"resource","link":"https:\/\/www.coto.org\/resources\/updating-your-information\/","title":{"rendered":"Updating your information"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Question<\/strong>:&nbsp;<em>What are the consequences of not updating my information with the College?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Answer<\/strong>:&nbsp; If you have not updated your information within the required timeframe and this is brought to the College\u2019s attention, the issue may be investigated by Investigations &amp; Resolutions (I&amp;R) staff.<br><br>You are required to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coto.org\/registrants\/registration-services\/update-your-information\">update the College within 30 days of a change to your information<\/a>, including, but not limited to: your name, home address, email address, and employment information, including your business address and business telephone number.&nbsp;<br><br>Additionally, if concerns about a registrant\u2019s conduct are reported to the College, I&amp;R staff&nbsp; will cross-check details against the information in the College\u2019s register. If it appears that a registrant has not updated their employment information or other required details, this can become an additional concern to be investigated.<br><br>Be proactive and minimize future issues by regularly checking that your information is up to date with the College.
