If you have forgotten your username or password, please use the option on the login page to reset it. <br><br>If you no longer have access to the email on file, contact <a href=\"mailto:registration@coto.org\">registration@coto.org<\/a> with your:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--small)\">full name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--small)\">registration number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--small)\">old email and new email address<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirm renewal is complete. You will receive an email to confirm you completed annual renewal. <br><br>You can also verify your registration status on the public register (<a href=\"https:\/\/otportal.coto.org\/Public-Register-Search-Custom\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>List of Registered Occupational Therapists<\/strong><\/a>). Check your registration history expiry date. See our page on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coto.org\/about\/reports-accountability\/understanding-college-fees\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Understanding College Fees<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong>What happens if you don\u2019t renew or resign by the May 31st deadline?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you do not renew or resign your registration by May 31, 2026, you will receive a notice advising that your registration will be suspended for non-payment of fees if the required fees are not paid to the College within 30 days.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"content-section-block has-fade-in-up  align wp-block-acf-content-section\" id=\"section-taking-a-leave-or-resigning\">\n    <div class=\"section-header \">\n        <h2>Taking a Leave or Resigning<\/h2>\n            <\/div>\n\n    <div class=\"content-section\" aria-hidden=\"false\">\n        <div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<p>If you will <strong>not be practising as an occupational therapist or using the title occupational therapist (OT) in Ontario after May 31<\/strong>, you may choose to <strong>resign your registration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Learn more about your options: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coto.org\/registrants\/stopping-practice-in-ontario\/\"><strong>Stopping Practice in Ontario<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To resign, log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/otportal.coto.org\/SignIn\/\">COTO Portal<\/a> and complete the resignation form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--medium)\">Keep in mind:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you <strong>resign<\/strong>, you cannot practice as an occupational therapist or use the title <strong>occupational therapist, OT, or OT Reg.
