The Association of Canadian Occupational Therapy Regulatory Organizations<\/strong> (ACOTRO) is launching a three-year initiative to enhance the Substantial Equivalency Assessment System<\/strong> (SEAS). Learn more about the SEAS initiative<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ensure the updated program reflects the real experiences of internationally educated occupational therapists (IEOTs), ACOTRO is seeking input from IEOTs who have completed SEAS and are currently registered with a provincial regulatory college.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participation is voluntary, and your information will only be used for this project. A small honorarium may be provided depending on the activity and time involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note that ACOTRO may not be able to accommodate all IEOTs who express interest. Selected IEOTs will represent a variety of home countries and current practice areas across Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists<\/strong> (CAOT) is leading a new national initiative called the Internationally Educated Occupational Therapists: Web-Based Navigation Supports<\/em><\/strong> project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This project will create online tools and resources to help IEOTs navigate the licensure process and successfully join Canada\u2019s occupational therapy workforce. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CAOT is launching a survey to hear directly from IEOTs and key partners including employers, supervisors, clinical leads and mentors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your feedback will ensure that new resources are practical, meaningful and truly meet the needs of those they\u2019re designed to support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
